Coronavirus Local Vaccinations

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

For enquiries about the Covid-19 vaccination rollout programme in south east London please visit South East Lodon CCG website. If you have an urgent enquiry, please contact them via their website or call 0800 328 9712. However, the team are not able to respond to individual enquiries regarding delivery of or appointments for vaccinations. All of this information is available on the CCG website.

Your local vaccination site is Downham Health and Leisure Centre Moorside Road.

The first phase of the NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme is well underway and we are currently vaccinating Cohorts 1-6 (see poster for more detail). These vaccinations are being delivered through Hospital Hubs, Vaccination Centres and GP practices. See this leaflet explaining who is chosen for the first groups and why.

Cohorts 1-6

If you are aged 64 and over, a frontline health or social care worker, a carer or clinically extremely vulnerable - you can book your vaccine online or call 119 or we will be in touch.

Cohorts 7 and over

For other groups (7 or over), when it is the right time, you will receive an invitation to come forward for your vaccination. For most people this will be a letter (some might receive a call or a text), either from the practice or the national NHS. This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number.

Please help us and do not contact the practice or other NHS services to get an appointment for a COVID vaccination until you get this letter. Please also continue to follow the national guidance to control the virus and save lives.
